Christopher Drake has been practicing law since 2004 with a primary focus on insurance law in state courts, federal courts, and appellate courts throughout Colorado and Minnesota. He began his career working within the insurance industry — experience that gives him a unique perspective when representing policyholders against insurance carriers.

Drake Insurance Law represents a wide variety of clients, from individual homeowners and homeowners associations to banking institutions, product suppliers, manufacturers, and construction professionals. Christopher has successfully handled cases through jury trial and subsequent appeals.

He is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Minnesota, including the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Colorado, Minnesota, and Nebraska. He is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Colorado Bar Association, and was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018.

Today, Drake Insurance Law focuses exclusively on first-party property insurance disputes — underpaid claims, denied claims, appraisal proceedings, and bad faith litigation on behalf of Colorado property owners and contractors.

When he is not in a courtroom, Christopher enjoys time with his family, chasing trout, and playing golf.
